Jokerizer Slot Review

jokerizerIf you haven’t heard of Yggdrasil, it’s probably because the makers have just released their first range of slots. However, with promising and well-themed slots, they have caught the Nordic market by surprise and we’ve seen a lot of Yggdrasil on Swedish casino sites for a while now. The first ever slot to come from the stable of Yggdrasil was Jokerizer, released later last year. This is a 5-reel slot with some good features, so don’t let the baffling name bother you. The average return to player is astounding 98%, but that’s more of an average of the basic game (88.8%) and bonus round (106.1%).

Design and Theme

Running on Yggdrasil Gaming Casino Software, Jokerizer on the surface seems much like those classic slots in the Vegas style. Of course, the grinning Joker (obviously called Jokerizer) is one of the main highlights of the game and can offer fantastic wins. The sounds are weird in a way if you are playing continuously, but the makers have done justice to the bright themed graphics. The game doesn’t take much time to load in the free version, so you can expect seamless play with decent internet connectivity.

Where to Play the Jokerizer slot?

All the Yggdrasil slot games are available at the Vera & John Casino, an online casino site we truly recommend.

Jokerizer is a 5-reel slot that comes with 10 pay lines. The lines for the slot are fixed, which certainly adds to the chances of winning more. The fixed slot design has been retained by the makers in their slots released later, as well. The symbols of this slot are extremely shiny and polished, and there are just six of them, each early and hugely different from the other. There is the star, which is the highest paying symbol, followed by the 7, Bell and other fruit symbols. Every time the reels stop, the symbols show a little bounce that pleasurable to watch.

Since the 10 pay lines are fixed, one has to decide on the coin size for the bet. The minimum coin size is 0.01, while the maximum is 2.00. The maximum bet size is 20.00, which is decent for engaging new and expert players.

One of the main symbols of this slot is the Jokerizer himself. Every single time you win, you have the option to enter in the Jokerizer mode or collect the wins of the round. In the special mode, you will get the chance of winning the Mystery win easier than the normal mode. The Mystery win round is equally simple, and the minimum win here is 1,000 coins to a maximum of staggering 6,000 coins. In the normal mode, you need three of the special symbols for triggering the round, while in the special Jokerizer round, you need just two symbols.

Please note that the Jokerizer himself is a scatter symbol and doesn’t need to appear on pay lines. It can only appear on reel number 2,3, and 4. The maximum win of 6,000 coins is offered when special symbol appears diagonally or horizontally on the reels. The special Jokerizer mode ends automatically when you get the mystery win of 1,000 or more. Sadly, there are no wilds here, nor any of those high end animated games. However, unlike the other games where you might not be happy checking the joker on reels, here you will want him more.

If you are looking for a slightly tweaked and better kind of non progressive video slot, this casino game is just right for you. Yggdrasil Gaming has done the right thing in their first slot, which is more of a blend of classic and new slot elements. The reels here are semi transparent, so you can see beyond, and every other bit of detailing is in place. Overall, the winnings are decent, and when you can strike the Mystery win, the pleasure doubles.
